If you are new at this, a good way to use up those plastic salad containers from Costco is to use them for your seeds. Fill one third of the way up with STERILIZED soil (prevents die off), spray to dampen, sprinkle seeds, cover with a thin dry layer of soil and, do not forget to use a popsicle stick or tongue depressor with name of seed inside, cover and place in a light area away from draft. Check every other day and spray mist when needed. When seeds sprout, gently open lid a crack during the day. When seedling have two sets of true leaves not counting the first(cotyledon), open during the daytime and/or transfer to small pots or when soil outside has warmed plant outside.
